When I photograph these amazing and beautiful beings we share our lives and earth with, I often try to get close to capture the details.  Details help us see them as individuals – each with their own story.  When we see them as individuals, it makes it easier to wonder about them. When we start to wonder about them, we may also start to care about them.  Many species need our care these days if they are to survive.
